One of the construction equipment valuation projects we’re proudest of was done for a large, well-respected family business needing a step-up in basis for IRS purposes. The father had died unexpectedly and without adequate estate planning. Our understanding of the situation, the equipment involved and structure of the business allowed us to produce a report that satisfied the needs of remaining family members, their counsel and tax advisors.

In a divorce case involving speciality drilling equipment, our appraisal report helped finalize the separation process by providing valid and reasonable numbers that both parties were willing to accept after years of speculation and argument.

Our machinery and equipment appraisal reports are the work of an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Machinery & Technical Specialties, the designation awarded by the American Society of Appraisers to educated, experienced and qualified individuals in the specialized equipment appraisal industry.
